In December 2004 Corinne and Alain ROSES, owners of Chateau Haut-Bellevue, Cru Bourgeois in Lamarque, decided to take the adventure a step further, adding to their range with a 5 hectare (12.36 acre) estate in Soussans (appellation Contrôlée Margaux).

The old cellar in the hamlet of  ‘Le Grand Soussans’ was a post-house in the XIXth  century.
